The Lemons in Life

I’m sure we all know what happens when life decides to hand us lemons. But, whatever you choose to do with the sour fruit, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s there.

You can ignore it – and wait for it to mold and hand you things you could’ve never even planned.

You can make lemonade, and maybe with a little sugar, you can learn to enjoy the mild sourness.

You can even make grape juice – and watch in amusement as other try their hardest to figure out how you managed such a feat.   Honestly, I don’t know about you, but I don’t like grape juice. I prefer fruit punch.

Anyway, my point is, don’t be a sour puss. Life will be unfair. That’s why it’s life aka Life Isn’t Fair Ever!

Yet, it’s pretty simple. Even if we ignore our problems and end up with mold in our hands, we can still make penicillin. It’ll take time – and tons of effort, hard work and everything in between, but it’ll be worth it in the end. Yes, lemonade is sour, but guess what? You can say good riddance to gingivitis.

In fact, sometimes, the sweetest deals are the ones that have your head in the end. If it’s too good to be true, that’s because it’s probably not true – unless God is involved, of course, but you can talk to Him about that.

In the end, Life is simple. We are the ones who make Living more complicated than it needs to be.
